Texans Fall Short With Missed Field Goal

Well the Houston Texans failed again today, for the 14th time, to put away their AFC South rival in the Indianapolis Colts.

Manning and company took a 13-0 lead in the first half over the Texans. After that it was a Houston affair until the fourth quarter. Matt Schaub and the Texans put up 17 unanswered points and took the lead until midway in the fourth quarter when the Colts capitalized on a Joseph Addai rushing touchdown to retake the lead.

Schaub and the Texans drove down the field late in the fourth quarter to force a game tying field goal with 1 second left in the game. Houston Kicker Kris Brown, who made a 56 yard field goal earlier in the game, missed a 42 yard field goal to the left as time expired.

With this win, the Colts take a staggering four game lead in the AFC South and are frankly in the driver's seat and in charge of their own destiny here on out.
