(AP Photo / Matt Slocum)After a blowout victory in Lubbock last night over Oklahoma State, sports writers including myself are are asking for a No.1 BCS rank for Texas Tech.
The Alabama Crimson Tide were able to escape defeat in overtime yesterday against LSU. Alabama narrowly escaped defeat against a 15th ranked Tigers team that they should have been able to handle with ease. I definitely believe that Alabama and the SEC's strangle hold on the top ranked position should come to a halt after their performance.
The Red Raiders' blowout of No. 9 Oklahoma State was more concinving and just solidifies even more that Texas Tech is worthy and should be ranked No. 1.
