Cowboys Roast Seahawks On Turkey Day

An excited Martellus Bennett celebrates after scoring the first touchdown of the game for the Cowboys. The rookie tight end out of Texas A&M celebrated in true Aggie fashion as Dallas continued on to victory over Seattle 34-9.

The Cowboys' defense was also on cooking detail as they kept the heat on the Seahawks, be able to record 7 sacks on the day, the most sacks produced in a game for the cowboys in over ten years.

The Seahawks struggled all game on both sides of the ball. Even when they were able to get into the red zone, their offense wasn't able to capitalize and had to settle for field goals. Seattle's only glimmer of hope was in the second half when cornerback Marcus Trufant was able to intercept Dallas quarterback Tony Romo in the end zone.

Dallas is running on all cylinders now that they have quarterback Tony Romo back for a couple weeks. Romo had three touchdowns to WR Terrell Owens, TE Jason Witten, and TE Martellus Bennett. The Cowboys improve to 8-4 on the season and have a long nine days till their next game on December 7th versus Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers in Pittsburgh.
