The Cleveland Browns sure showed what they could do for the Giants as they served a striking first loss to the defending World Champions on Monday night in Cleveland.
Braylon Edwards and company were on the verge of going 1-4 and having their playoff hopes fade away. The Browns proved to be ready for the first place Giants as they were able to picked of QB Eli Manning three times.
Giants WR Plaxico Burress, on his return from suspension, only managed 4 catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. The only Giants' playmaker to show up was second string RB Derrick Ward who grabbed 101 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown.
I was very impressed with the Browns' ability to move the ball down field especially in the second half and control the clock and tempo of the game. This win keeps their playoff hopes alive and gives a serious reality check to the Super Bowl Champs.
