The Astros completed their three game sweep of the Mets this afternoon with a shutout win of 4-0.
Houston has won six out of their last seven and are now putting tremendous pressure on the rest of the NL Central teams. As of today, Houston sits eight games out of the NL Wild Card and thirteen games out of the NL Division race.
With six home runs in this three game series the Astros are finding their rhythm and have a chance with 52 games left to make their run for the post season and glory in October.
Houston goes to Chicago tomorrow to a begin three game series against the first place Cubs. The Astros have played the Cubs pretty well all season, but Chicago has won 41 games at home this year and after Houston's series with New York, they will not be taking the Astros lightly.
